Information You Submit
When you use a search form, the name, phone number, or address you enter is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you send us a message, we receive the details you choose to provide and use them to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs that can include an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate to maintain the service and learn which resources are useful. Cookies or related technologies may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where those functions apply.
How We Use Information
We use the information described above to run the site, diagnose faults, measure visits, and improve content. We neither sell a visitor list nor create profiles about individual users.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Montgomery County offices, Maryland agencies, court portals, library collections, and third-party search services. Each destination applies its own privacy terms to data submitted there. Our policy does not control those sites. This distinction also applies to sponsored search results, which come from an outside provider.
When Information Is Shared
Vendors that host or support the service may process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising providers may receive the automatic information already described. We may disclose data when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise share visitor information.
How Information Is Protected
An encrypted connection serves the site. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes stated above. We do not operate visitor accounts, so this site holds no user password or account profile.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted such information, and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Rights
Rights may vary based on where you live and whether a particular law covers the data and organization involved. The Maryland Online Data Privacy Act, Maryland Commercial Law Title 14, Subtitle 46, was enacted through Chapters 454 and 455 of 2024 and applies prospectively to covered processing after April 1, 2026. For covered controllers and subject to statutory limits and exemptions, it can provide rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain certain personal data, plus rights concerning specified sales, targeted advertising, and profiling. These rights should not be read as applying to every site or every record. We can review our contact mailbox and server logs for a request submitted through the Contact page. Government records held by Montgomery County, Maryland, or court custodians remain outside our control, and a consumer privacy request does not erase a record the government must retain.
Updates to This Policy
Any revised policy will be posted here. By continuing to use the service after an update, you accept the revised terms.
